Design Details: Reeded Cabinet Doors and Drawers, Custom two-tone metal hood, Metal Edged Bar Shelves, elegant translucent furniture-like cabinet feet, architectural accent lighting, and a built-in doggie station.

The Backstory:  Aparna originally designed this builder’s kitchen in a very traditional style. For the current homeowner and builder, the goal was to create a more modern feel while ensuring the new design felt right at home in the space. The kitchen was completely gutted and reimagined, with photorealistic 3-D renderings helping the clients envision the curated details. Below, we share the before photos, renderings, and finished kitchen to show how their vision came to life.

The client envisioned a space that felt both moody and refined. Aparna brought that vision to life with deep, brown, custom stained oak cabinetry layered with luxurious details, including fluted doors and drawers, glass-front uppers, and a dramatic two-tone custom metal hood. The crisp Calcutta Caldia Quartz countertops and the expansive snow-white onyx floor tiles add contrast and a sleek, high-impact finish, anchoring the design with depth and sophistication.

Clear lucite legs give the range side perimeter cabinetry a bespoke, furniture-like quality. Coupled with delicate fluted detailing and rich gold accents, these elements introduce a gorgeous play of contrast, warmth, and texture.

Even the family pet is treated to the luxury experience, with a custom dog station thoughtfully integrated at the end of the cabinetry run to preserve the kitchen's upscale, streamlined aesthetic.
