Project Scope: Kitchen, Mud Room and Powder Room

Design Details: Separate prep, cooking and beverage/entertaining stations; an arched alcove hood over a 48” Wolf Range, a 3” thick checkerboard Butcher Block in edge grain maple, hand painted large format Botticino floor tile placed on the diagonal, and built-in produce baskets.

The Backstory:  Designed to blend modern functionality with traditional warmth, this award-winning kitchen transformation breaks up a vast, light flooded space into an intimate gathering place. By dividing the expansive layout into dedicated stations; from a specialty coffee and entertaining bar to prep and cooking zones, the design creates an effortless flow. It invites family and guests to cook, sip, and socialize together without ever feeling crowded.

The homeowner chose a fun geometric patterned wallpaper for the mud area next to the kitchen which takes an otherwise utilitarian space and gives it a warm, personal and unique expression.

Elevated living extends to every member of the family. A custom dog-feeding station on the other side of the mud area blends high-end finishes with everyday convenience, featuring a wall-mounted water filler, inset stainless steel bowls, and an attractive yet easy-care backsplash.

Just off the mud area, the powder room got its own makeover - now boasting a textured white wall mount vanity, a contemporary vessel sink complimented by fun patterns on the walls and floor.
