| David Ulrich, CKD - President
ULRICH, INC. |
|
 |
 |
|
Mr. Ulrich has more than 40 years experience in operating
ULRICH, INC. He has brought the company from a small mom/pop
business primarily focused on residential appliance sales to
being one of the larger, and most highly respected,
premier-quality kitchen and bathroom remodeling firms in the
region.
He brings a professional perspective to a business model
that rarely enjoys such leadership. The evolution from sole
proprietorship to ESOP required dedication to the future
well-being of both his employees and his business and has
resulted in a business poised and ready to grow in both size
and direction. His vision and leadership has allowed him to
create an environment within a small business that offers,
for employees wishing to avail themselves, real career
opportunities not easily found in the industry as a whole
and in our region particularly.
NKBA and manufacturer design accolades line the pages of
David’s career. In addition, he co-authored the book “Better
Kitchens” with Neil DeLeo. David’s active role within the
kitchen and bath industry is marked in many ways, including
the repeated requests for his extensive design knowledge to
judge trade and consumer design competitions. He is also,
notably, among the earliest to earn the designation
Certified Kitchen Designer from the Society of Certified
Kitchen and Bathroom Designers of the National Kitchen and
Bath Association. |

| Don DiNovi, CKD - Designer |
|
 |
 |
|
Don DiNovi brings his 25 years of experience in residential
design and construction management to the Ulrich team.. He
studied construction management and design in Southern
California at the University of Irvine before embarking on a
career as a designer and builder. His projects include new
homes, whole house renovations, kitchens, baths and home
theatres. Many of Don’s projects have been published in
national magazines including Better Homes and Gardens,
Trends, Fine Home Building and Signature Kitchens and Baths.
He has also been the recipient of many design awards and is
listed in the Who’s Who of Kitchen Design. Don was selected
by a juried panel of peers to design the kitchen and keeping
room at the Havermeyer Mansion in Mahwah, NJ for the Better
Homes and Gardens.
Growing up in a household of musicians, actors, artists
and craftspeople, and surrounded by the fruits of their
labor, Don developed a thorough appreciation for the melding
of each of these creative mediums into his own design work.
A lyrical sense of symmetry, a flair for the dramatic, an
artful presentation and an ergonomic and functional space
are what he strives for in each project.
Along with experience, knowledge and talent, Don
attributes his success to an ability to be a great listener.
With careful attention to a client’s wish list, completed
projects reflect a client’s dream transformed into reality. |

| Tom Santarsiero - Designer |
|
 |
 |
|
When
Tom Santarsiero sits down to work on a project,
he brings to bear his more than twenty years of
experience in the worlds of woodworking, kitchen
and bath design, and remodeling. Those years
brought him to a wide variety of unique projects
to which he in turn always brought one common
element: the ability to envision a space from a
perspective not otherwise entertained.
Tom sees options where none are readily
apparent. He finds possibility in what at first
may appear to be constraint. Reconciling the
wishes of his clients with the myriad factors
present in any project, he brings resolution to
all the variables. This yields a balance between
the aesthetic and the functional all to the
benefit of his clients.
Because of his work ethic, Tom has done
multiple projects for many of his clients, often
in multiple residences. He has written
kitchen-related articles for Fine Homebuilding
and his work has been a part of three Junior
League of Montclair-Newark showhouses. He has
been published in Ladies Home Journal, New
Jersey Monthly, and Home Mechanix. The build-out
of a loft office space in SoHo, which he
designed and built, has been used in four
episodes of “Law and Order.” |

| Gabriel Jordan - Designer |
|
 |
 |
|
Gabe
Jordan joined ULRICH, INC. after spending
several years with a kitchen and bath remodeling
and property management firm in Brooklyn. His
education, resulting in a degree in Theater
Design and Architecture from Lehigh University,
provided the foundation for his career in
residential remodeling.
Gabe's first goal is to understand his
clients’ needs. By accomplishing this, he is
able to assess their desires, concerns, needs
and even their fears. With this valuable
information Gabe is able to personalize each
space, and make the client feel more “at home”
in their home than ever before.
While serving as the Technical Director in
the Theatrical Design Department at Lehigh, he
developed the ability to construct and manage
the very projects that he designed. After
entering the industry, prior to joining ULRICH,
INC. Gabe served as Director of Operations for
another kitchen and bath firm. In this position
he learned to personally guide projects from
concept to completion. Gabe’s clients are
assured of his ability to not only conceive
their project but provide professional
implementation as well.
Gabe's ultimate goal is to satisfy his
clients. He does this not only by assuring that
the space has been crafted to reflect their
needs, but by ensuring that the remodeling
